| We provide FREE employment services to job seekers and employers. Who can use our services? Anyone who is looking for work, or employers who are looking for well trained personnel. We are one of 14 one-stop career centers throughout Alameda and Contra Costa counties, funded by the Department of Labor and the State of California to provide employment services to job seekers and employers. | |
| Business Services: We provide customized, no-cost assistance to all businesses including start-ups. Businesses are able to access a variety of services specifically designed to increase their competitiveness and to grow their bottom line. Services include: Business Consultations, Business-to-Business Referrals, Workshops and Seminars, Labor Market Information, Permit and Licensing Information, Customized Training for New and Existing Employees, Conference and Meeting Facilities, and Staffing Assistance. |

The New Facility is at the corner of Port Chicago Highway and Bates Avenue, across Port Chicago Highway from the Diablo Creek Golf Course, north of Highway 4. From the North Concord BART Station: the County Connection Bus #127 leaves hourly from 6:32 am to 5:32 pm and arrives near the facility about 5 minutes later. From the Diablo Valley College: the County Connection Bus #127 leaves hourly from 6:58 am to 5:58 pm and arrives near the facility about 19 minutes later. If you are driving and using Highway 4, there are off ramps from Highway 4 in both directions for Port Chicago Highway, then go North on Port Chicago Highway. For those coming North on CA 242 take the CA 4 to Richmond off ramp, and keep right to Port Chicago Highway.
