Alameda County Department of Child Support Services

The Department of Child Support Services provides on-site direct services to non-custodial parents at the North Cities One Stop. These services include default orders modification, release of suspended licenses and wage assignments, and assistance with paternity establishment, child visitation and custody related issues.
They are onsite the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month.

California Employment Development Department EDD provides and documents employment and training related services to One Stop customers. A representative is available every Tuesday from 9 AM to 4 PM to assist customers with employment opportunities posted on the caljobs website, UI data and questions or to counsel customers on labor market trends.

The Office of Economic Development provides business services for a community- based approach to entrepreneurial, artistic and environmental endeavors. The Office of Economic Development also links Berkeley businesses with Berkeley job seekers. The city’s Youth Employment programs provide after school and summer work experience opportunities via the City’s General Fund.
